I've friends who go to the Kentucky Humane Society's Eastpoint Pet Resort and Fern Creek Pet Resort. Not only does your pooch get a good cut, but your patronage helps needy pets in the community!

First, I'll introduce Keyra -- my seven-year-old Maine Coon mix, who I adopted from the Kentucky Humane Society four years ago. She is a full-figured diva who loves cat nip, lounging by the window and being my shadow.
Then, there's Pele, a white medium-haired beauty, who I found as a stray kitten. She's a complete ham, who will greet you at the door and beg for attention. Pele (named after the Hawaiian goddess of the volcano) loves belly rubs, playing with her favorite ball and air nursing.
Hoping to add a dog to the family someday soon!
