- Sophie is a six-year old yellow Lab who fancies herself a rabbit hunter (not!).
Then there are the cats (Sophie believes they are her pets): Beamer, the old (17) lady tortoise-cat; Fritz, Beamer's son, orange long-haired, and a real talker; Puffin, grey short-haired (shy); Sheba, small and gorgeous black--VERY shy;
Mischa, long-haired black and nosy--into everything, follows us everywhere.

- Used to live on an Indiana farm, with cows and horses, etc., now on 5 acres in Bullitt County, KY. A lot less work! Retired RN. Husband of 4 years had never had a pet in his life, and has discovered he loves all of them (and they love him)! However, he does feel that we've reached saturation point on kitties. No more room on the bed.
