Feeder Supply is where I get cool toys instead of this stupid stick!
Lol, very nice, sometimes they are so pleased with the craziest things!

We get our puppy chow at Feeders Supply so we can grow big and strong and be Flyball champion Border Collies

Payton and Eddie - ready for the 2009 football season!

I adopted my Mia from the Feeders in Hikes Point in May 2008. I can't imagine life without her! That is THE BEST Feeders memory I have!
Kandace and I formed our "family" when we moved in together. I had Sharma, a border collie - labrador mix, and she had two young border collie - Australian shepherd pups. Shortly after I moved in, Sharma passed away. To try to heal my sorrow, Kandace took me to the Feeders on Dixie, where we met "Betty Boop" and "Bam-Bam" and promptly fell in love -- except with those names. Naming them Frankie and Lola (after the Jimmy Buffett song), we took them home. Here's the first Christmas photo with Santa at Feeders with the four of our kids:

My dog's name is Kirby but we call him "Crazy Kirby". He's one big ball of energy and wants to play all the time. We like to go to Feeder's Supply so he can pick his own toys to play with and meet new friends.
overdose of cuteness!
Benny....was given to my by a friend in Peewee Valley because he did not get along with their other dog. He is my soul mate and the best dog one could ask for... Recent Photo of Benny at Herrington Lake.

I've been going to Feeders Supply for just over 4 years. I know I can trust the staff and employees knowledge of products whenever I come in with a concern about my pets. They always strive to make sure the customers needs are met. About 2 years ago the whole country had a pet food crisis with the dog and cat food contamination. I was able to come into my local Feeders and have the staff help me find a food I could feed to my dog without having to worry that it would harm her. There were many others in the store that day looking for help and advice during this very scary time for all pet owners; each customer was helped with the upmost concern for their pets safty. During the black out this past year, we thought we'd lose our fish. Not having power for almost a week was difficult and on top of that fearing for the lives of pets in our care was incredibly stressful. A Feeders employee gave up tips that saved our fish. We love Feeders! They have been there for us and our pets when we really needed them! A million thanks from our entire family...pets and all!

Birdo LOVES these fluffy birdhouses. I got this one at Feeder's Suppy, the best place to go for what birds need.
I have two of them. When I change the cage, I just put in a clean one while I throw the other one in the washer and dryer. Since Birdo likes to chew the strings which hold them up, I replaced the rings which came with them with clips I got from an office supply place and hung it higher to the roof of the cage so she can't get to them.

Birdo sleeps in her fluffy birdhouse and it's her "safe place". She loves it. I recommend them to anyone who has a peach faced lovebird, or parakeets or other small parrots. Just hang them so the birds can't climb on top of them and chew the strings which hold them up.

As a petsitter, I don't petsit in my home. I go to their's for scheduled visits. So Lucy, if you are taking pets into your home, then yes, you would need some type of license or permit. You may even need to look into zoning issues with your home. Al…

They are probably referring to the licence you need from Louisville Metro Animal Control. You need a license for boarding (babysitting is considered the same thing as they are in your care during that time) You do need this as the fines are steep fo…

They might be referring to a business license, which you don't need for a pet sitting business. You might want to join a petsitters group like Petsitters International (www.petsit.com). They usually have a lot of good info for getting your business…
