Dog parks and runs
I'm always looking for places where I can let my dog off leash for a run or for Frisbee. Here's a map showing the three official dog runs in the Louisville area:
The Louisville Dog Run Association maintains a Web site at www.louisvilledogs.com that has information about the runs in three metro parks.
Dogster.com has pages with details, maps (and paw ratings) for Cherokee Park, Tom Sawyer and the Louisville Waterfront.
There is also a national Web site that has listings of dog parks in every state, including Kentucky and Indiana.
If you have any other suggestions for off-leash areas, I'd love to hear them.
